W.H. Meanor & Associates was organized in 1971 as an adjunct of the Piedmont Employers Association under the direction of Bill Meanor, operating as an executive search company. The company originally went under the name Southern Management Registry. In 1974 at the urging of the membership and the association, Bill took the company private. He ran the company primarily as a one or two man office until he decided to reitre and close the business.
In January 2001, Jim and Sue Kemper purchased the office condo, contents and the right to use the name W.H. Meanor & Associates from Bill Meanor. In 2005, the corporate name was changed and the company became a majority woman owned business. In 2007, the company earned Woman Owned Business certification.
W.H. Meanor & Associates continues to grow and expand services to clients, candidates and the community.
